Viive exists to help plan for your end-of-life and legacy. Explore our service packages and Trusted Partners, and learn how we will keep your family’s personal information safe and secure.
At Viive, we understand that planning ahead can be a deeply personal, emotional and involved process whether you are planning for you and your family, or you, your family and your business or corporate affairs. No matter what your situation is, we have service packages that support your needs and help you realize your vision. Our packages ensure that all aspects of your personal and/or business affairs are included in your tailored Aging & End-of-Life Plan. This may include exploring personal goals, reviewing financial assets, facilitating meetings with loved ones and business associates, or involving Trusted Partners, as required.
We meet with you to hear your needs and understand your vision for your next stage in life or legacy.
With your participation, we start gathering information pertaining to your assets, liabilities, family and business partner dynamics, aging & end-of-life wishes. We audit documents, determine whether or which Trusted Partners may be involved and how your plan will be stored securely.
If requested, Viive can introduce some of our Trusted Partners to help support your Plan. Any introduction is strictly permission-based and with your full consent for document and plan sharing.
You also have the option to bring your own Trusted Partner(s) into the planning process with Viive.
Feeling unsure of how to share your Plan with your loved ones, business partners or potential caretakers? This is why Viive exists. At this phase, we have established with you what your vision is, and we help you share it in a collaborative and productive way with the people who matter most to you.
Viive will help you prepare for the meeting(s), determine and coordinate who should attend and what topics will be addressed or will not be discussed. If needed, the meeting can be recorded in audio or video and kept with your Plan for added insurance in the future if required.
Some of the topics that will likely be addressed include: indicating who your desired Power of Attorney and Executor will be, how your assets & liabilities will be divided, plans for gifting in Will, plans for gifting prior to death, choices as you age (where to live, when and how to make the decision to move to assisted living (scenarios), financial decisions, how you want to be cared for from a health perspective, etc.).
Based on your age, health and details of your Plan, we will determine how often Viive should be making contact with you to determine whether what you planned still works for you, whether you have been through any major life changes that could alter your Plan in any way, inform you of any changes that could affect your Plan, and take action accordingly. This can take place annually, bi-annually, or every three years.
This service exists to help appointed executors and/or family to manage the affairs and estate administration of a deceased loved one. Viive works with families across three possible scenarios.
We meet with the designated Executor(s) according to the deceased’s Plan, in order to review necessary next steps, determine the involvement of various Trusted Partners and develop a list of what needs to be done by the designated Executor of the deceased.
We meet with the designated Executor(s) according to the deceased’s Will and with the Executor permission, we start gathering information pertaining to the deceased’s assets, liabilities, family dynamics, business affairs (if applicable) and legacy wishes. We review documents, determine whether or which Trusted Partners may be involved, and establish next steps.
From there, we present a plan to the Executor for their agreement.
We set up a meeting with the deceased’s spouse, children, siblings or friends, depending on the person’s circumstances. In collaboration with a lawyer, we work with loved ones to determine who should apply to be Executor.
We then start gathering information pertaining to the deceased’s assets, liabilities, family dynamics, and any legacy wishes they may have shared. We audit documents, determine whether or which Trusted Partners may be involved, and establish next steps.
A unique element of Viive Planning’s model is our roster of Trusted Partners, who are experienced professionals in their field. They are integral to the entire planning process, both before death and after, and ensure that each family can obtain the services they desire and require. Our partners include:
