Phase 3 Collaborative Meeting

What Happens

Feeling unsure of how to share your Plan with your loved ones, business partners or potential caretakers? This is why Viive exists. At this phase, we have established with you what your vision is, and we help you share it in a collaborative and productive way with the people who matter most to you.

Viive will help you prepare for the meeting(s), determine and coordinate who should attend and what topics will be addressed or will not be discussed. If needed, the meeting can be recorded in audio or video and kept with your Plan for added insurance in the future if required.

Some of the topics that will likely be addressed include: indicating who your desired Power of Attorney and Executor will be, how your assets & liabilities will be divided, plans for gifting in Will, plans for gifting prior to death, choices as you age (where to live, when and how to make the decision to move to assisted living (scenarios), financial decisions, how you want to be cared for from a health perspective, etc.).

What You Get

  • An opportunity to address life-altering and highly sensitive topics in a mediated meeting, with a professional to help guide the discussion, so that all involved feel heard, understood and validated.
  • A written summary of the meeting discussion
  • A recording of the meeting, stored with your customized Plan

Phase 4 Periodic Review

What Happens

Based on your age, health and details of your Plan, we will determine how often Viive should be making contact with you to determine whether what you planned still works for you, whether you have been through any major life changes that could alter your Plan in any way, inform you of any changes that could affect your Plan, and take action accordingly. This can take place annually, bi-annually, or every three years.

What You Get

  • Removed burden of having to remember to update your plan
  • Live your life with the peace of mind of knowing that Viive is ensuring your plan remains updated and right for you.

Executor Advisor Series

This service exists to help appointed executors and/or family to manage the affairs and estate administration of a deceased loved one. Viive works with families across three possible scenarios.

Scenario 1Deceased was an existing Viive client and died with a Viive Aging and End-of-Life Plan and Will

What Happens

We meet with the designated Executor(s) according to the deceased’s Plan, in order to review necessary next steps, determine the involvement of various Trusted Partners and develop a list of what needs to be done by the designated Executor of the deceased.

What You Get

  • A list of next steps and action items for Viive and the Executor
  • A weekly, bi-weekly or monthly connection with Viive to update the to-do list progress
  • Time to focus on grieving without worrying about managing too much of your loved one’s affairs

Scenario 2Deceased was not an existing Viive client and died with a Will

What Happens

We meet with the designated Executor(s) according to the deceased’s Will and with the Executor permission, we start gathering information pertaining to the deceased’s assets, liabilities, family dynamics, business affairs (if applicable) and legacy wishes. We review documents, determine whether or which Trusted Partners may be involved, and establish next steps.

From there, we present a plan to the Executor for their agreement.

What You Get

  • A list of next steps and action items for Viive and the Executor
  • A weekly, bi-weekly or monthly connection with Viive to update on the to-do list progress
  • Time to focus on grieving without worrying about managing too much of your loved one’s affairs

Scenario 3Deceased was not an existing Viive client and died Intestate (without a Will)

What Happens

We set up a meeting with the deceased’s spouse, children, siblings or friends, depending on the person’s circumstances. In collaboration with a lawyer, we work with loved ones to determine who should apply to be Executor.

We then start gathering information pertaining to the deceased’s assets, liabilities, family dynamics, and any legacy wishes they may have shared. We audit documents, determine whether or which Trusted Partners may be involved, and establish next steps.

What You Get

  • A list of next steps and action items for Viive and the Executor
  • A weekly, bi-weekly or monthly connection with Viive to update on the to-do list progress
  • Time to focus on grieving without worrying about managing too much of your loved one’s affairs
